To help amplify the firm’s reputation and support the commercial ambitions of our Luxembourg teams, we are looking for a Business Development, Marketing & Communication Advisor
Your role
As a Business Development, Marketing & Communications Advisor, you will be part of the office and firm’s international Business Development, Marketing & Communications (BMC) team and will work closely with BMC colleagues in other offices. More specifically, you will support the different Luxembourg practice groups with hands‑on business development, marketing and communication activities.
This role is strongly operational in nature and is ideal for a junior to mid-level professional who enjoys execution, coordination and close collaboration with lawyers and international colleagues.
Your responsibilities
Business development
- Support the different practice groups and client teams in the preparation and execution of business development initiatives aligned with the firm’s strategic priorities
- Prepare, coordinate and update pitches, proposals, credentials, submissions and presentations
- Compile management information and BD materials, including client and matter lists
- Provide day‑to‑day BD support to lawyers, including responding to ad‑hoc requests and contributing to internal BD processes
Marketing & communication
- Draft, edit and update content for the corporate website, LinkedIn and internal communication channels, in line with the firm’s house style and tone of voice
- Support lawyers in raising their external profile through articles, rankings‑related content and LinkedIn activity
- Contribute to consistent branding and messaging across Luxembourg communication materials
- Prepare and complete submissions for legal directories and rankings (e.g. Chambers, Legal 500), including gathering information, drafting content and submitting forms
- Liaise with lawyers and international BMC colleagues to collect track records, matter descriptions and referee information
- Support the organisation and follow‑up of client events, seminars and marketing initiatives in Luxembourg
International collaboration & coordination
- Work closely with the international BMC team and BMC colleagues in other offices and as part of the same team to ensure alignment and exchange of best practices
- Participate in international projects or working groups as a contributing team member
Your profile
- A university degree (Bachelor or Master) in Marketing, Communication, Business, Management or a related field
- First professional experience to approximately 3–5 years of experience in business development, marketing or communication, preferably within a law firm, professional services firm or international environment
- Strong writing skills and excellent spoken and written English; good command of French and/or German is required for the Luxembourg context
- Comfortable working with MS Office and digital communication tools; experience with website content management or similar tools is an asset
