Teamwork is essential at NautaDutilh, but autonomy is also significant.

Teamwork is essential at NautaDutilh, but autonomy is also significant. Joining NautaDutilh and embracing its culture and values means that we expect our people to work autonomously and be able to handle considerable responsibility. For this purpose, various internal and external training sessions, seminars, conferences, and regular updates on legal developments are available at each stage of employees’ careers.

In order to better support our colleagues’ career development, we also offer possibilities of secondments in our various offices, including London and New York, but also with our clients.

COACHING

Upon joining the firm, you will be assigned a buddy. The role of the coach is to guide you through the acclimatisation process, especially during the first few months, to facilitate your integration into the firm. The coach also helps you to acquire knowledge and skills and contributes to your professional development.

TALENT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

At top law firms, lawyers need not only impeccable substantive knowledge but should also be able to learn and adapt to a changing world and to empathise with the client's needs. In our Talent Development Programme ("TOP"), we guide our lawyers at each level of seniority through the process of developing these soft skills and help them to become top professionals.

The programme fosters the development of business knowledge, entrepreneurial skills (including client focus) and leadership skills (how to motivate others and leading a team).
