About NautaDutilh

We are an international law firm with Benelux roots. We offer our clients – multinationals, financial institutions, private equity houses and investment funds – full-service legal services at the highest level. Within our firm, you will be part of the international Business Development, Marketing & Communication (BMC) team. In this team, business development advisors, CSR, CRM and business intelligence experts, event managers and communication professionals from the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Belgium, London and New York work closely together to set up and implement the commercial strategy of our firm. You will be based in London.

About the job

Our London team consists of approx. 10 lawyers from our home jurisdictions in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg working from our office in the City. Together with the office manager, you would constitute the support team of the London office. Lawyers from across all offices regularly travel to London for client meetings, acquisition visits and conferences. As BMC Officer, you will be responsible for, among other things:

  • Supporting the London team in their business development and client relationship management activities. This can for instance include planning client meetings, preparing materials for visits and meetings, managing travel and visit schedules, drafting visit reports, assisting in preparing pitches, helping to prepare and evaluate the annual business plan, and conducting research into existing and prospective clients.
  • Providing the BMC team and the London team with accurate information relating to clients and markets. You will manage and update marketing materials in close cooperation with the international BMC team, as well as collect, organise, and verify data for legal directories, submissions, publications, and awards.
  • Planning and organising client events in London and business development team meetings within the London office.
  • Building a network within the BMC team and the wider firm, and proactively seeking collaboration with other business support teams and practice groups. To this end, you will familiarise yourself with internal workflows and systems to ensure your expertise remains up to date.
  • Being part of the London support team, the officer manager and the BMC officer support and cover for each other in general and during busy periods and holidays.
